In order to make my video as interesting as possible I have spent some time researching some possible dance genre/types that might be available for filming.

Letter of Permission
I have recently sent a letter to Justice's record label Ed Banger Records.

This is the exact copy of the letter sent I will await their reply and hopefully obtain permission to use the song:

ED BANGER RECORDS
10 rue Ramey, 75018 Paris – FRANCE
Dear Pedro Winter of Ed Banger Records,
My name is Daniel Opie and I am currently studying A-Level Media Studies at Aldenham School.
As part of my coursework this year, I am creating and producing a music video to a song of my choice. I have chosen D.A.N.C.E. by Justice as the song I would like to create a music video for, and I am writing this letter to seek your permission to do so.
Please note, this video will be used only for my coursework and will not be distributed or marketed in any form. I would greatly appreciate your permission to use this song.
Many Thanks,
Daniel Opie.
Final Decision on Video
I have now come to a decision on exactly what I want my music video to be for the song D.A.N.C.E. by Justice.
I want to produce a concept/dance video that will represent the important meaning of the lyrics which is the importance of dance and how it can bring all cultures into each other and everyone recognises as fun regardless of race, language, colour, gender or age. From this I hope to create a utopia for the audience and make them feel as if they are part of a larger and happier community.
This representation will hopefully be achieved by me through the use of various different dance genres being mixed together and dancing to the same song (D.A.N.C.E.) to show how every different genre can dance to the same song.
After a bit of research I found that Michael Jackson's - Black or White has a very similar message in the song and also a very similar music video to the one I am envisaging.
So in conclusion my video will be various dancers of different genres and races all dancing to the same song.
