Creating my Digipak

I have been working on my Digipak over the last few weeks. My idea is to use the dancers in my video on the Digipak so that it is easy to relate the two. For this to be done I took shots of the dancers in a pose I liked and then used Photoshop to manipulate the image into something I liked.

This was the 'first draft' of my Digipak using InDesign, as you can see one of my dancers is used as the background, I made the image black and white on Photoshop and then pasted it onto my page. I have also put the lyrics to the song I am using D.A.N.C.E. onto a few pages so that the audience can see the lyrics to the song visually and understand the meaning behind them.

At the moment I am experimenting with putting things that I call 'Stamps' around the Digipak. They are keywords taken from my lyrics and placed around the Digipak in a large, interesting and colourful font to grab the audiences attention to the most relevant words.

A few weeks later however I further changed the Digipak. For example I added more stamps, made a border around the images, and added things such as a track list and my own record labels logo! Test-Tube Records:

Soon I will finish the front cover and place my artists logo (RAYGE) onto the front.
