Filming Equipment

For all of my filming sessions with dancers I have been issued the following equipment by my teachers.

Camera:

I will be filming the dancers using a Panasonic HC-V210, I have used this camera in the past filming my AS Media Studies project so I am used to the techniques and gadgets available on this camera. One of my favourite features of this camera is the twistable display, hopefully this will allow me to view what I am filming while the camera is in awkward angles.

Memory:

To store my captured footage I will be using a SanDisk 16GB Memory Card or (SD Card). This should be more than enough space for all my footage.

Tripod:

In order to get smooth footage I will be attaching my Panasonic camcorder to a Velbon DV-6000 tripod. This is a professional tripod that features a fluid and pivoting panhead, quick release system and a stable sturdy design.
